Kyle John, M.D., a child/adolescent psychiatrist, joined the Arc of the Ozarks in 2023 as medical director for the new Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinic. He was previously a member of the Mercy Health System from 2007-2023. Following ten years of clinical practice and a variety of local leadership roles in the Springfield community, for the next six years he served both as Medical Director for Behavioral Health at Mercy’s Virtual Care Clinic, and then as system-wide Clinical Vice President for Behavioral Health. Dr.
John received his undergraduate and medical educations from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He completed his adult and child psychiatry residencies at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a distinguished fellow of both the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association.
