Dr. Deepti Agrawal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems at Cal Poly Pomona. She earned her Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Memphis and teaches courses in cybersecurity and information systems, drawing on both her industry background as a software developer and her academic expertise. Her research focuses on the adoption of emerging technologies and behavioral information security, with publications in the European Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Information Management, and Computers & Security.
Dr. Agrawal’s teaching and research are guided by the view that security awareness and education are critical to strengthening cybersecurity resilience.
