Fortifying the Future: Cybersecurity as a Pillar of Community Resilience
In an increasingly interconnected world, cybersecurity is a critical pillar of community disaster resilience. Cyber threats can disrupt emergency response systems, compromise critical infrastructure, and exacerbate the impacts of natural and man-made disasters. Strong cybersecurity practices can enhance a community’s ability to withstand and recover from crises, ensuring that vital services remain operational when they are needed most. How do cyber threats impact community resilience? What steps can organizations take to ensure critical infrastructure remains secure in the face of cyberattacks? How can local governments and businesses collaborate to enhance readiness and effective responses? What role does public awareness and education play in strengthening cybersecurity resilience? How can emerging technologies, such as AI and blockchain, support more resilient cybersecurity frameworks?
