Leadership Development Manager
Missouri Department of Mental Health

Jazmine serves as the Leadership Development Manager for the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), anchoring her 15-year career in a deep commitment to human services and education. Her path in community care began on the frontline, working directly with, and developing programs for individuals from the school setting to as a Habilitation Specialist and in Direct Care roles. Over the years, her dedication to advocacy has spanned multiple facets of the community, including serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), a lead teacher, and a special education paraprofessional. These grassroots experiences have shaped her person-centered approach to leadership, keeping the human element at the center of all her work.

During her 11 years with the Missouri DMH, Jazmine has focused on supporting staff and fostering trauma-informed practices. She is a certified NADD-DDS professional and examiner, specializing in dual diagnoses, and is trained in crisis intervention and wellness frameworks, including CISM and DBT.

At the core of her work, Jazmine is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe, supported, and included. She is eager to join the conversation on rebuilding "third places" and explores how communities can foster the meaningful connections that sustain us all.
