Dr. Aaron J. Fischer is an Associate Professor in the School of Psychology at Utah State University and adjunct professor in educational psychology, pediatrics, and psychiatry at University of Utah. He is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 20 years of experience supporting schools, families, and communities through behavioral and mental health initiatives.

Dr. Fischer is the founder of the Utah School Mental Health Collaborative, a statewide initiative that partners with school districts and community organizations to expand access to behavioral and mental health supports through consultation, workforce development, telehealth, and systems implementation. His work focuses on scalable and technology-enabled approaches to supporting students and educators, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

His research and professional work span teleconsultation, artificial intelligence in behavioral health, virtual learning environments, educator wellness, and interdisciplinary models of school-based care. He has led numerous state and federally funded initiatives focused on improving access, implementation fidelity, and workforce capacity in education and mental health systems.
