Dr. Angela Holloway-Payne is the principal of Dexter Elementary School, a Memphis, Tennessee school, with accomplishments of excellent academic standing in language arts, math, science and social studies.
In 2008, she was named the Shelby County Schools Distinguished Administrator of the Year and was also awarded the title of West Tennessee Distinguished Administrator of the Year.
Holloway-Payne received degrees from University of Memphis, Trevecca University and Union University.
Holloway-Payne is the wife of Dr. Richard Todd Payne, associate professor of music at Missouri State University. They enjoy spending time with their bichon frise named Casper, attending movies and traveling together.
