Hear no evil. See no evil. Say and do nothing?
Who among us suffers in silence in communities that are unhealthy? Children who live with physical and sexual abuse? Partners who suffer emotional and physical battering? Returning veterans experiencing the effects of war? Those living in grief, in poverty, with untreated mental illnesses? Those using substances to dull the pain they are experiencing? How will the invisible among us, who live in circumstances that leave them unhealthy in mind, body and spirit, be identified? And whose responsibility it is to address their needs?
