Addressing sexual violence on college campuses: What can be done?

10:30 - 11:45 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2016
PSU Ballroom West

There has been talk about a “rape culture” in the United States. Sexual violence on college campuses, including Missouri State University, has recently begun to receive attention from the media. Addressing sexual violence likely requires a multi-pronged approach, including interventions related to mental health, education, media, etc. But where to begin? How early can and should this topic be addressed in public school curricula? How may colleges, the media and local communities be proactive in addressing the problem?
