How to ensure the pursuit of happiness for vulnerable populations
Individuals with disabilities rely on the receipt of resources from federal, state and local levels to receive services, such as assistive technology and behavioral supports. How may outcomes from the 2016 presidential election affect the ability of individuals with disabilities to receive these services? What can schools and communities do to support these individuals? How may agencies collaborate to ensure these individuals receive the support they need? In the case of limited funding, how do we, as a nation decide who receives how much support?
