Michael Streissguth is a professor in the Department of Communication and Film Studies at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. He teaches classes in mass media, film, writing and English literature.
He is the author of eight books, including "Johnny Cash: The Biography." He has also produced three documentary films. A fourth documentary film about CBS News’ historic coverage of 1989’s Tiananmen Square uprising is in production. His journalism has appeared in The Washington Post Magazine, Salon, Rolling Stone, The Irish Times and many other publications.
