9:00 - 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018
PSU Ballroom East

Poverty is many things, but a “state of mind” is not one of them. The lack of resources — from support systems to healthcare to faith to housing to education and finally, money — all cause and keep people in poverty. What are possible 21st century solutions that can address the multitude of obstacles and disparities, as well as prejudices, that plague almost 40 percent of our citizens today?
