As Government Affairs Director for the Indiana Attorney General, Parvonay Stover is responsible for advancing the Attorney General’s legislative priorities at the state capitol in Indianapolis, coordinating with interagency task forces and commissions, and promoting positive relationships with officials in all levels of government.
Previously, Stover worked as the Legislative Director for the Indiana Department of Child Services, where she successfully advocated for a $200 million biennial budget increase in the 2017 budget session, and in 2016, worked to add human trafficking to Indiana’s child welfare statutes to ensure that DCS and the juvenile courts could intervene in cases of child sex and labor trafficking. Stover has also served as an education fiscal analyst with the Indiana Office of Management and Budget, overseeing budgets and spending for the state’s public colleges and universities, and a legislative assistant for the Indiana House of Representatives.
Stover earned degrees in political science at Ball State University and public policy at Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
