Springfield Art Museum
Nick Nelson is the director of the Springfield Art Museum in Springfield, Missouri.
As director, he manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the museum from public programs to personnel.
Under his leadership, the Springfield Art Museum has reached record attendance through growth in public programs, community outreach and marketing.
Nelson has over a decade of experience working in the arts as an educator, administrator and artist. He holds a bachelor of fine arts from Georgia Southwestern State University and a master of fine arts from Georgia Southern University.
