As modern society addresses the issues of environmental sustainability and the social components of government, business, education and human services, what is the role of the arts in these endeavors? How may theater, dance, film, music and the visual arts contribute to, and benefit from, conversations about sustainability? How can artists seize the opportunity to accurately reflect the issues without being polemical?
