Social problems require complex solutions: deep and narrow bodies of knowledge contribute richly but must work together to see, interpret, and respond to the whole picture. This virtual plenary event will discuss how innovative design can affect the so-called real world, from small improvements in daily conveniences to major steps toward social justice.
