In the United States and beyond, the terrain occupied by higher education, business, and healthcare continues to respond to the pandemic’s aftershocks. Unprecedented stresses on college students have affected academic preparation and performance; colleges themselves continue to feel the social, academic, and financial effects of the crisis. Beyond the university, businesses and overwhelmed healthcare facilities find themselves with new challenges to manage, from changing labor forces and supply chain disruptions to the constant emergence of new and complex cybersecurity threats and data privacy issues. What strategies must emerge to ensure educational institutions and workplaces stabilize and solidly bridge the Covid-era gap? How can these industries collaborate to better address new realities on a local, national and/or global level?
