"We are not our brother's keeper . . . In countless large and small ways, we are our brother's maker" Harry and Bonaro Overstreet.  According to studies by James M. Kouzes and Barry Z. Posner the most important leadership role models that most of us have are people close to us- family members, teachers/coaches, and immediate supervisors. Leadership is relational, and each of us can become a leader in our day to day lives. How can this perspective of leadership and individual impact help make our communities and systems more resilient? What does leadership look like at the local community level within the context of our interconnected world? How can individual actions/individuals demonstrate and develop leadership qualities?
