FROM JORDAN...
"At 14, a transformative Rites of Passage pulled me out of a season of isolation and uncertainty, setting me on a lifelong journey to weave connection and meaning into life. Back then, mentors and elders handed me the tools to navigate raw emotions and reclaim my story—a gift I now pass on as the Executive Director of Journeymen. At Journeymen, I help teenage boys step into manhood with resilience and empathy, creating intergenerational spaces where we forge independence, resilience, and emotional maturity together.
I’ve learned that weaving trust isn’t about following a rigid blueprint; it’s about embracing life’s unexpected twists and turning them into opportunities for growth. Whether I’m designing an experiential workshop for a local nonprofit, resolving conflicts for a university team, or engaging diverse groups in dialogue, my approach is simple: meet people where they are, listen deeply, and guide them to rediscover their power, grounded in their purpose.
One truth I hold close is that we’re built for connection, not isolation—and it’s through relationship that we become who we’re meant to be. This fuels my work against social isolation and inspires me to transform challenges into collective triumphs. I create spaces where personal struggles become shared victories, and where connection reigns over division. My journey—from a disconnected teen to a community weaver—reminds me that when we lean into each other, we can truly change the fabric of our world."
