Founder, Shades of Reality
Shardia is an award-winning columnist, Executive Contributor, and Director with over 20 years’ experience across healthcare, strategy, business, and community work. She studied Young People, Families and Communities at degree level and is currently studying a MSc Psychology. Her work focuses on identity, leadership, and how people and systems respond to change.
She is the founder of Shades of Reality and its creative studio arm, where she develops programmes and frameworks that help individuals, organisations, and leaders get clearer on identity, build resilience, and lead with intention. Her work is shaped by lived experience, research, and practice, and stays grounded in real-world application rather than theory alone.
She also founded Thawadar Boutique, a luxury fashion brand rooted in timeless design and intention, using fashion to explore identity and self-expression.
Through her writing and speaking, Shardia challenges thinking, cuts through surface-level narratives, and brings conversations back to accountability, clarity, and personal responsibility.
