José M. Causadias, PhD is Executive Director and Researcher at the Center for Educational Research in Panama (CIEDU AIP) since 2025. He received a Ph.D. in Child Psychology from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in 2014. He was a faculty member at the School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University from 2015 to 2025.
He is passionate about research on culture and mental health that can improve the lives of children, youth, and families, especially in Panama, Latin American and the Caribbean
