Live Zoom Webinar

Imagine moving every two to three years, leaving friends behind, and navigating a new school each time, This is the reality for military-connected students, where the strength of “We” meets the growth of “Me”.  Students who are military-connected navigate unique challenges shaped by frequent relocations, parental deployments, and the demands of service life. While not easy, these experiences can foster resilience, adaptability, and a strong sense of collective identity (“We”), while simultaneously shaping individual growth (“Me”).  How can the advantages and disadvantages be better mitigated for K-12 and college level students?  What strategies may be needed for flexible institutional resources.  Integrating the unique military family experience, how can educational institutions foster and promote their educational success and well-being?
