Kimberly Wagner has served as chief of staff to Chancellor Vicky Carwein at Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) since April 2013. Prior to this appointment, she served as director of alumni relations for over four years and other positions in both academic affairs and student affairs. She has been a part-time faculty member in the School of Public Policy, teaching six semesters of criminal justice classes and was awarded the School’s Excellence in Teaching Award for 2007-2008. Prior to joining the IPFW staff 2004, she worked as a communications specialist for the American Red Cross Blood Services (Indiana and Ohio Region) and as an education coordinator for the Allen County Solid Waste Management District.
Wagner graduated from IPFW with a bachelors in media and public communication in 2001 and a Master of Public Affairs degree in 2005.
