Jim Weatherly works within the state of Washington's Department of Social and Health Services, serves on the board of the National Association of Workforce Development Professional and is the owner of ARTrepreneurship, a consulting business. His previous community partnerships includes tribal, federal (disaster recovery, FEMA) and state (HIV/AIDS, CDC) government posts.
Weatherly is also a proud AmeriCorps alumnus, having served both in St. Louis Public Schools as an education mentor and along the Gulf Coast as part of the first emergency response team deployed during Hurricane Katrina. Weatherly grew up in Nevada, MO. He and his husband now live on the beach of the Olympian penisula with their three rescue pets. Jim is an avid concertgoer, explorer, photographer, reader, road tripper, Thanksgiver and writer.
