Leland Glenna is an associate professor of rural sociology and science, technology, and society in the agricultural economics, sociology, and education department at Pennsylvania State University.
He earned his Ph.D. in rural sociology at the University of Missouri, as well as a bachelor’s degree in history at Hamline University and a master of divinity degree from the Harvard University School of Divinity.
His teaching and research program examines the social, economic, environmental, ethical, and policy effects of agricultural, food, and environmental science and technology.
