Fact or fiction? While this seems a simple question, American society has evolved into a place where the truth is not easy to identify. To create a sustainable future, choices must be made and steps must be taken to find the science, the facts and the research to make the right decisions. How do informed citizens discern trustworthy information? How do they become educated in distinguishing fact from fiction? How do legislators determine the facts? How may society move forward with confidence that decisions are based on authentic information?
