Nick Brown is an educator and sustainability professional from Arizona who specializes in greenhouse gas emissions management, zero waste and environmental ethics.
He has led programs at universities, non-governmental organizations and corporations. Brown has installed solar and wind energy systems and has managed environmental conservation programs for World Wildlife Fund, NatureServe and Sierra Club.
Under his leadership, Arizona State University became the nation’s leader in campus-based solar energy production.
Brown is currently leading an insurgency on the board of directors of Salt River Project, the nation’s fourth-largest public power utility, working to transform the utility into a national leader in clean energy.
