Robert Jensen is an emeritus professor in the School of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin, a founding board member of the Third Coast Activist Resource Center, and part of the team developing Ecosphere Studies at The Land Institute in Salina, Kansas.

He is the author of "The End of Patriarchy: Radical Feminism for Men" and "Getting Off: Pornography and the End of Masculinity." Jensen’s other books include: "Plain Radical: Living, Loving, and Learning to Leave the Planet Gracefully"; "Arguing for Our Lives: A User’s Guide to Constructive Dialogue"; "All My Bones Shake: Seeking a Progressive Path to the Prophetic Voice"; "The Heart of Whiteness: Confronting Race, Racism and White Privilege"; and "Citizens of the Empire: The Struggle to Claim Our Humanity." Jensen has also written many articles.

He earned a bachelor's degree at Moorhead State University, a master's degree at American University and his doctorate degree in media law and ethics at the University of Minnesota.
