Retrieving Freedom Inc.
Kyle Cory-Yaeggi is the director of operations for Retrieving Freedom Inc. Its mission is to change lives through the training and placement of service dogs for veterans with disabilities and children with autism. Retrieving Freedom Inc. is an Assistance Dogs International accredited program located in Sedalia, Missouri, and Waverly, Iowa. Its facilities and operations are constructed in a holistic approach to increasing the independence of its graduates, one dog at a time, at no cost to clients.
In his role, Cory-Yaeggi oversees organizational staffing, client and program services, canine acquisition and in-house breeding. He graduated from Iowa State University and worked in the research industry for four years while volunteering for different nonprofits across North and South America. This passion for giving back led him to the service dog industry in 2013.
