Political reporter and head of the Monitor's New York City bureau. Since 1999, coverage has included a special focus on the intersection of religion and politics; other coverage includes law enforcement and policing, immigration, and LGBT issues.  Born in Chicago, Harry attended Yale University, where he studied theology, and Columbia University, where he studied journalism. In addition to his work as a journalist, he is an adjunct professor of journalism at Hunter College and the founder of The Village Quill. He currently resides in Manhattan.
