In the ever-evolving landscape of digital connectivity, the dynamics of community and individualism are undergoing profound transformations. As our interactions increasingly transcend physical boundaries, the concept of community has expanded into the digital realm, offering both unprecedented opportunities for connection and unique challenges for fostering authentic relationships. A study by Pew Research Center notes that 72% of adults in the U.S. use at least one social media platform. How do online platforms shape our sense of belonging and personal identity? What strategies foster authentic connections amidst curated personas? How do cultural variances and societal expectations shape the balance between individual expression and collective identity within digital communities?  What role do algorithms play in shaping online interactions? Given the prevalence of online harassment and cyberbullying, what responsibility do platform moderators and policymakers have in creating safe and inclusive spaces?
