2020-21 Honoree - A'dja Jones

Experiencing Missouri State as student, graduate student and employee, A’dja describes how the meaning of the public affairs mission has evolved to now become a way to model one’s life and a roadmap to becoming a better human being each day.  A’dja focuses time and energy to helping students and her colleagues through numerous projects, committees and initiatives.  Activities include serving six years as advisor for Bear Breaks, advisor to the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, serving four years on Staff Senate, assisting  the Pat Walker Public Affairs Academy and creating the first Study Away Program for student athletes.
