Linda Steinshouer

Academic Administrative Assistant II, Social Work Programs

Linda’s devotion to helping children with disabilities began through a most personal of ways – her son Logan. In an effort to better help her son, Linda has now dedicated over a decade to volunteering with Arc of the Ozarks.

She has served on the Board of Directors, is actively involved in numerous fundraising events, and is currently on the Programs Committee. Through this committee, she provides advice from a parent’s perspective, as to which programs work, gaps in services and how they can be improved.  Linda states, “providing the resources needed for each individual to become an active citizen… not only benefits the child and their family but positively impacts our community.”  

For her impact throughout the community and the region, Linda Steinshouer is awarded the 2019 Staff Excellence in Community Service Award. Congratulations!
