Mandi’s professional and personal passions meet in the middle. To be part of these groups, one must have completed their respective Citizen Police Academies – typically a 9 to 12-week commitment. Graduates then may join the alumni groups to help support police officers and law enforcement in their communities. In this capacity she gathers Christmas baskets for officers, attends tri-monthly lectures about police and community topics adopted a street and volunteers as an active participant in the Springfield Police Academy practical’s – where she acts out various real-word scenarios recruits may encounter in the field. For the Christian County, she supports appreciation activities and acts as an ambassador for the Sheriff’s office.
For her service to Springfield and area communities, we recognize Mandi Muse as one of this year’s recipients.
