Ana Estrella-Riollano

Ana Estrella-Riollano is an Assistant Professor of Biology and Biomedical Sciences on the West Plains campus.  Her public affairs contributions are both cross-disciplinary and international in scope.  She has developed service learning components and short-term study abroad experiences impacting the Puerto Rico ecosystem, as well as Costa Rica’s Leatherback Sea Turtles and tropical ecology.  Ana’s dedication to service is helping to create a more inclusive campus, and community, that celebrates diversity and empowers others to lead by example for meaningful change.
