Lisa McEowen has a passion for service and an enduring commitment to the public affairs mission.  With over 20 years of service in Meyer Library, Lisa has consistently and constructively recruited and involved students, staff and faculty in numerous service activities both on campus and in the greater community.  A few highlights include creating student collaborations while serving in Staff Senate; her participation as a mentor in the Bear Connection-USA program; serving as the inaugural and second year Conference Manager for the Statewide Collaborative Diversity Conference; and contributing to the Women’s Leadership Conference that emphasizes student/professional mentorship.  A strong commitment to promoting diversity, Lisa strives to help students see how their thoughts, voice and presence are important and vital to a lasting healthy community.  For her example in personifying the pillars of public affairs, we congratulate Lisa McEowen.
